We believe that we are different from other firms because we are committed to our clients. It is our privilege to represent you and we acknowledge the investment you make in entrusting us to act for you. We want our clients to receive the same level of service that we would expect ourselves. We are directly accountable to our clients and our success depends on theirs.
We have helped thousands of clients since 1983 when Paul Dodds established the firm. The majority of those clients return to us time and again and are happy to recommend us to their family and friends. Eight out of ten of our new clients are recommended to us by existing clients of the practice.
The quality service we offer our clients has been recognised by the Legal Services Commission, the national provider of publicly funded legal aid work, who has awarded this firm contracts to offer legal aid advice on matters of Family Law, Criminal Law, Housing Law, Welfare Benefits Law and Debt Law.
Our strength lies in the motivated team of people working at Paul Dodds Solicitors. Their integrity, experience and ability to field complex cases using innovative strategies, leads to the best results for our clients.
We are accessible, approachable and communicate clearly and openly with our clients to better understand the problems and issues that they face. This ensures that we can provide advice that is relevant and appropriate to their situation.
Paul Dodds Solicitors is committed to the ongoing training and development of staff at all levels so that our service is continually improved. All of our departments are headed by a specialist solicitor. Many of our solicitors are members of specialist professional bodies recognising their experience
and abilities in their specialist fields.
Senior Partner Paul Dodds is a member of the Law Society's Children and Family Law Panels recognising his ability and experience in these areas. Paul also has higher courts rights of audience. Normally, solicitors are unable to represent their clients in certain kinds of courts and have to pass their clients to barristers. Paul's rights of audience mean that he doesn't have to do this. His clients benefit in two ways. Firstly, they continue to receive Paul's expert advice and, secondly, they do not have to undergo the worry of being represented by a barrister who they may never have met before and who they may not trust.
Paul Dodds Solicitors makes extensive use of new technology to ensure that clients receive a fast and efficient service. Wherever possible we make use of email and text messages to mobile telephones to keep in contact with our clients. This means that they’re always up to date and don't have to worry about what's going in their case.
