The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Single Parent Families have been discussing how the Child Maintenance service(CMS) can be improved for single parent families.
It has been revealed that since the formation of the CMS in 2012, there has been over £435.9 million in unpaid child maintenance owed through its Collect and Pay service.
It is believed that the CMS should increase their enforcement powers and improve their customer service.
