HHJ Wildblood QC, sitting as a Judge of the High Court in Bristol has asked the public and press to assist in the return of Knox Jefferies. The ten year old child and his mother left the Bristol area on or around 28th July 2021 after the issuing of care proceedings by South Gloucestershire Council.

The mother and child are believed to have travelled to the Oldham area of Manchester but their movements have not been traced since.

HHJ Stephen Wildblood QC said he had taken the unprecedented decision to hold a public hearing out of genuine concern for Knox, to help Ms Jefferies “appreciate the seriousness of the matter” and to encourage witnesses to come forward.
