Reforms to Housing for victims of abuse

The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities has announced increased funding to local authorities to provide safe spaces for victims of domestic abuse.

A total of £125 million in funding has been committed and there are plans to remove the local connection test which is a test which prevents victims from applying for social housing if they do not have a connection to that area.
