Duncan qualified as a solicitor in 1995 after working in the magistrates' courts as a Legal Advisor for a number of years. Duncan has dealt with all aspects of general practice work since qualification and has, wherever possible, conducted his own advocacy in various courts and tribunals.
Duncan joined Paul Dodds in 2003 and has specialised in Family Law with Paul Dodds to form the core of a highly respected department. Duncan has been a member of the Law Society's specialist Children's Law Panel for many years and has an extensive childcare practice.
Duncan has also developed a specialist Road Traffic Law practice to assist those charged by the police with Road Traffic Offences or other such matters.
Additionally, Duncan has for many years advised and represented individuals and companies in commercial and business transactions and continues to do so.
