Tim Crosland, an unregistered barrister has been fined £5000 for contempt of court after he broke the embargo on the Supreme Court judgement of the expansion of Heathrow Airport.

Crosland argued he was disclosing the information to safeguard life due to the danger of expanding the airport. Crosland had disclosed the ruling of an appeal before the judgment had been handed down.
