This firm works hard to ensure that it offers an excellent service to its clients and complaints are rare. When clients do feel the need to complain the firm is able to resolve most issues. Unfortunately some matters can’t be resolved and are referred to the Legal Ombudsman, who independently investigates complaints about service issues with lawyers.

From 1st April 2023 the time limits for referring a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman will be changing.

From the 1st April the time limits for referring a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman will be now be no later than:

• one year from the date of the act or omission being complained about; or
• one year from the date when the complainant should have realised that there was cause for complaint.

Complainants also need to bring a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman within six months of the date of the final complaint response from the firm.
